Belgium is ruled by Gemini (air), under the dominion of Mercury. Symbolically, Mercury impresses upon its people trade, intellect and communication. A testing, volatile sky asks this nation for caution.
Astrological profile of Belgium
Air signs describe an economy built on information, services, trade and finance. It reacts fast to news flow, and its volatility comes more from narrative than from physical scarcity.
Its mutable modality means adaptability: regimes change often, volatility is structurally higher, and the country absorbs external shocks by transforming rather than resisting.
Mercury governs trade, transport, telecoms and the circulation of information. Applied to markets it points to logistics, brokerage, semiconductors and every business whose margin depends on speed of exchange.
How to read these transits
A transit is an angular relationship between the ruling planet of Belgium and another planet, measured on the ecliptic. What matters is the angle, the tolerance around it — the orb — and above all the window: the period during which the angle stays within that tolerance. Every window shown on this page is computed from real ephemerides, not estimated.
- Square (90°) — friction; two needs pull in different directions and force an adjustment.
The tighter the orb, the more concentrated the effect. An aspect at 0.3° is at its peak; the same aspect at 5° is entering or leaving.

Frequently asked questions
Which zodiac sign rules Belgium?
Belgium is traditionally associated with Gemini, a air sign of mutable modality, whose ruling planet is Mercury. The attribution comes from mundane astrology — the branch that applies astrological symbolism to nations rather than to individuals.
What does Mercury govern for Belgium?
Mercury governs trade, transport, telecoms and the circulation of information. Applied to markets it points to logistics, brokerage, semiconductors and every business whose margin depends on speed of exchange.
How long does a transit last?
It depends on the relative speed of the two bodies. The Moon forms and dissolves an aspect within hours; Mercury, Venus and the Sun take days; Mars weeks; Jupiter and Saturn several months. Every window on this page is calculated from real planetary positions, which is why the durations differ from one aspect to the next.
Can I use this page to invest?
No. There is no established evidence that planetary positions predict market prices, and nothing here should be treated as a signal. Prices are driven by fundamentals, liquidity and policy. This page exists as a symbolic and educational framework — treat it as a lens for reflection, never as a reason to take a position.
How often is this page updated?
The transits are recalculated from current ephemerides and the page is regenerated regularly. This version was updated on Oct 26, 2026.
